One HIIT Wonders

 

What is a HIIT workout, you wonder?  High Intensity Interval Training…which is short bursts of  all-out effort mixed with a little rest.  This type of workout is meant to torch calories and you can do them just about anywhere.  You can mix in strength work or go all cardio based depending on your goals.  Do you want to lose fat, or stay lean while building some muscle?  This will work.  HIIT can also be used to improve aerobic or anaerobic capacity.  It’s pretty much up to you how you use the workout.  Keep it short for a 10 minute quickie or bust out a good 30-40 minutes of highly effective activity.  Get creative and have fun with your own ideas or you can come back to this page for your weekly dose of High Intensity.
